Welcome to eKal Academy’s Self-Paced Learning Course for Senior KG – Communication, Language, and Literacy!
At eKal Academy, we dedicate ourselves to nurturing advanced communication and literacy skills in young learners. Our Senior Kindergarten (KG) – Communication, Language, and Literacy course aims to further develop and reinforce language skills in preparation for primary school. Through carefully crafted lessons, children will expand their vocabulary, refine their phonetic knowledge, strengthen their comprehension abilities, and explore advanced language concepts.

- Revision of Three-Letter Words with Vowels: Review three-letter words with 'a', 'e', 'i', 'o', and 'u' in the middle, reinforcing phonemic awareness.
- Words with Blends and Digraphs: Explore words with blends (br, gr, fr, tr) and digraphs (sh, th, wh, ch).
- Words with Long Vowel Sounds: Introduce words with long vowel sounds ('oo', 'ee', oa, oi, ou, or).
- Words with Special Endings: Learn words with 'er', 'qu', 'ng', 'all', 'ill', 'nd', 'nt', and 'mp'.
- Tricky Words: Practice reading and recognising tricky words that may not follow regular phonetic patterns.
- Use of 'a', 'an', and 'the' and Story Activities: Understand the usage of articles and engage in story-based comprehension activities.
- One and Many: Explore the concept of singular and plural nouns.
- Opposites: Learn pairs of opposites to expand vocabulary and understanding of language concepts.
